Run for Run is a fundraiser to provide rent assistance for the working poor as housing stability is necessary for stable families. Other programs of the Apartment Association Outreach are Food Distribution to 24 pantries, distributing 1500 backpacks filled with school supplies to children in need, scholarships for postsecondary education and certification programs specific to multifamily housing.
This is the fifth annual Cincinnati Coin Laundry 5K for Outreach, with the theme this year Run for Rent. The previous four events were held at the Voice of America Park, West Chester, Ohio. Changing the location to the TM Berry Friendship Park in Cincinnati allowed adding events such as the Fun Run for children and a sponsored lunch catered by Eli's Barbeque. Register before Friday, March 18th for a free t-shirt in your goodie bag. The long sleeve t-shirt will be available at the event for $10.
