Home For The Holidays 5K

Please join us on Saturday, November 30, 2019 for the 7th Annual Home For The Holidays 5K in historic Medina, New York. Held in conjunction with Medina's Olde Tyme Christmas Celebration! The race will start in the Canal District and finish in front of the American Legion Hall Post 204.

The event is sponsored by the Home for the Holidays Foundation with proceeds of the race benefitting local Charitable and Veterans Associations.

Come for the run... Stay for the fun!

There will be live entertainment throughout the town including arts and crafts, horse-drawn carriage rides, food vendors, family activities, Santa parade, special exhibits, and merchant specials throughout town! At the request of runners, shirts will once again be optional this year. Plenty of free parking downtown near the finish line area.

START/FINISH
The race will start in the Canal District behind Filomena's Favorites located at 135 East Center Street and finish in front of the American Legion Hall Post 204 at 305 N. Main Street. Medina is a small town and walking distance between start and finish is just a few blocks.

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race. Race day registration and packet pickup will take place inside the Medina YMCA from 7:30am right up until the start of the race at 8:45am.

DISCOUNT REGISTRATION (NO T-SHIRT)

$20 through 11/21/19 then $25 to race day

OPEN REGISTRATION (T-SHIRT INCLUDED)

$25 through 11/21/19 (no shirt option only after 11/21/19)

If you prefer to mail in your registration, please download both the race waiver and appropriate USATF liability waiver below and mail to the address shown. You must complete and mail BOTH waivers to the address shown on the waiver along with your check.

POST RACE CELEBRATION

Join us after the race for a post race celebration including food, snacks, refreshments, and awards ceremony!

PARKING
There will be plenty of free parking throughout the Village of Medina.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers and medals will be presented to the top three male and female 5K runner in each of the following age groups:

10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29. 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 and older.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
